What is Carbon Monoxide?
CO gas is produced when carbon fuel (natural gas or LPG) is not burned completely due to improper installation, wrong repair, or poor maintenance. Chimneys and vents should not be blocked.
Why is CO dangerous?
CO gas is tasteless and odorless. Only a CO alarm detects it. Carbon monoxide is very harmful and can lead to paralysis, brain damage, or even death. It enters your lungs and shifts into your blood, killing blood cells due to lack of oxygen. Even small amounts can poison you.
