A boiler service is a combination of visual checks and practical tests that a Gas Safe registered engineer carries out on the boiler to keep it working efficiently throughout the year. Getting your boiler serviced annually is much better than spending money on repairs after 3 or 4 years.
Below is the list of checks we perform:
Visual checks of the boiler condition and flame
Checks on internal and external flue
Checking the working pressure and input heat
Checks on safety devices
Check on the seal of case for an efficient seal
Remove boiler casing to check all major parts
Boiler parts cleaned if required
Report showing all work done by engineer
Boiler Service Only

We have partnered with qualified and insured engineers who are registered with:
1. Boiler Condensing Pipe Freezing
It is normal for a condensate pipe to freeze in cold weather. Once frozen, your boiler shuts down automatically for safety. Before calling an engineer, check the condensate pipe. If frozen, you can defrost it yourself. Make sure your condensate pipe is insulated correctly with foam to prevent freezing.
2. Boiler Pressure Decreasing
Common reasons for pressure loss:
Heating is off for a long time
You recently bled radiators
Try to regain pressure by opening the filling loop taps on your boiler. Once you reach required pressure (normally one bar), close the taps. If this doesn’t work, call a Gas Safe registered engineer.
3. Boiler Water Leakage
Old and worn washers can cause water leakage from the boiler. Do not try to replace washers yourself. Always call a competent person to do it.
